The Most Trusted Certification in the Air Systems Industry

Market requirements for air systems are continuously evolving. To ensure the most efficient path to product testing, inspection, certification, and assurance, manufacturers and stakeholders worldwide turn to AMCA International’s Certified Ratings Program (CRP).

Certified Ratings Program (CRP)

The AMCA International CRP is a globally recognized third-party program that assures not only that a product line has been tested and rated in conformance with international standards and requirements, but that published performance ratings are accurate and, thus, reliable.

  • Assures the buyer, user, and specifier that the manufacturer’s published performance ratings of air system components are reliable, accurate, and compliant with applicable ANSI national and international standards.
  • Provides information on how the product was tested, what appurtenances were included, and other relevant details to help these parties select an air system component that will meet the required performance standards.
  • Establishes a procedure for regularly verifying the manufacturer’s performance ratings by checking the certified product line in the AMCA International Laboratory or an AMCA International independent accredited laboratory.
  • AMCA laboratories are accredited through the American Association for Laboratory of Accreditation (A2LA) for complying with ISO/IEC 17025 for testing and calibration and ISO/IEC 17065 for providing certification to other laboratories.

Eligibility

Manufacturing companies that regularly design, fabricate, assemble, and sell a product(s) within the AMCA air systems product scope are eligible for AMCA CRP. Participation in the program is voluntary.

Enforced Withdrawals, Violations & Non-Certified Products

The most common infractions of the AMCA Certified Ratings Program (CRP) include, presenting a noncertified product as certified, failure to provide a check-test sample, failure to correct a product after a failed check test, changing a product without notification, and failure to correct a catalog after a product line is withdrawn.

    AMCA CRP Market Surveillance Report

If you believe you have seen a violation of the AMCA CRP program and would like us to investigate it, please complete the form below.

Certified Ratings Program (CRP) Seals & Listing Labels

The Seals and Listing labels of the AMCA Certified Rating Program are protected by copyright and owned by the Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International, Inc. It is strictly prohibited to reproduce these seals labels. Seals or labels are exclusively obtained through AMCA International USA headquarters.

Only the licensee is authorized to apply seals or labels, as listed in the License Agreement appendices, in accordance with the Certified Ratings Program Operating Manual (AMCA Publication 11-22) and the AMCA Listing Label Program (AMCA Publication 512-23). Failure to adhere to these standards may result in fines, violation notices, and product suspensions.

    CRP Seal Quick-Response Codes

A quick-response (QR) code on a CRP seal is unique to the licensee. It will redirect to the licensee's product page in the AMCA Certified Ratings Program (CRP) directory. This helps users to verify the certification of the product. From February 3, 2024, AMCA will no longer approve catalogs that do not have CRP seal QR codes.

Any media referencing seals or labels require AMCA review for accuracy before publication or distribution. There will be no cost associated with reviewing media that are only changing to incorporate CRP seal QR codes. While there are no specific sizes, a QR code in a licensee’s product catalog must be large enough to be functional.

We advise licensees to utilize their current seal inventory before adopting the new QR code seals. Once the current inventory is exhausted, only the QR code version of the seal will be available. Please note that the physical dimensions of the seals will remain unchanged.

Ordering Seals, Listing Labels and QR Codes

Certified Rating Program seals are available in two sizes and ordered in quantities of 1,000 for USD 100.00.
