New AMCA Board of Directors in Place

At "Beyond! The AMCA 2024 Annual Meeting" in November, we proudly installed a new AMCA Board of Directors, which includes four dynamic new members poised to shape the strategic direction and growth of the association. Under the strong leadership of Board Chairman Mike Wolf from Greenheck and Board President Ed Rizk from OSA, we are excited about the future.
The board welcomes two returning members for a second term: Jye Teoh, General Manager of Kruger Ventilation, and Brett Vake, Vice President of Customer Experience at Twin City Fan Companies. Joining them are two exceptional new members: Denise Grady, Chief Financial Officer of Berner International, and Bob Valbracht, PE, Vice President of Engineering at Loren Cook Company. Each member will serve a three-year term, and their unique skill sets and perspectives will be invaluable to the board's mission.
We encourage everyone to support them as they embark on this meaningful and influential professional journey.

AMCA Member Satisfaction Survey

AMCA International recently concluded a global member satisfaction survey, and the results are in. With nearly 25% of members responding, this survey provides the staff and Board with a baseline to measure future annual progress against these initial responses. Overall, the feedback was positive; however, areas for improvement and suggestions for program enhancements were identified.
Each of the strategic tenets and focus areas was addressed, and the results will be discussed at the Board of Directors meeting at the end of February. During this meeting, detailed actions will be developed to learn from the feedback and implement improvements. The findings will also be shared with the regional steering committees and the respective regions during their 2025 meetings.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the survey results, and keep an eye out for the next Member Survey, which will take place in October and November of 2025.
AMCA Webinars Scheduled

AMCA has two webinars scheduled in February and March. All members are invited, and encouraged to attend.
AMCA MEMBER-ONLY WEBINAR: Update on U. S. Fan Regulations
Tuesday, February 4, 11-12 AM CST
With the U.S. Department of Energy withdrawing the final rule for general fans (commercial and industrial fans and blowers) and circulating fans, the future of U.S. fan regulations has become unpredictable.
Meanwhile, DOE has not yet published the final rule for ceiling fans, which would impact large diameter ceiling fans. It’s possible that DOE may withdraw that final rule, as well, but it is impossible to predict what will happen.
This webinar will clarify the status quo of U.S. fan regulations at the state and federal level and outline the actions that AMCA is taking in the energy code arenas of ASHRAE 90.1 and the International Energy Conservation Code.
Topics include:
• U.S. DOE Fans and Blowers
• U.S. DOE Large-Diameter Ceiling Fans and Circulating Fans
• California Title 20 Fan Regulation
• ASHRAE 90.1 and International Energy Conservation Code
• State Energy Codes
Speakers include:
• Christian Taber, Chair, North America Air Movement Code Action Review Committee
• Tom Catania, Regulatory Affairs Consultant to AMCA
• Michael Ivanovich, Senior Director, Global Affairs, AMCA
• Brittany Swan, Regulatory Affairs Analyst, AMCA

More information will be available soon.
2025Call for 2024 Annual Report of Sales

As a reminder, all AMCA members are required to report their annual sales for assessment calculation in accordance with the AMCA bylaws (Article X, Section 2). The request for this year’s Annual Report of Sales (ARS) was sent out on January 22, 2025.
Completing this form is critical for determining your company’s annual assessment for the upcoming fiscal year invoice. Your prompt response is vital to ensure that our invoices are accurate and that the association’s budget is well-structured. Please remember that members who fail to submit their Annual Report of Sales will face the maximum assessment amount for their region.
To avoid any unexpected charges, make it a priority to submit your ARS by the deadline of March 31, 2025.
If you are responsible for completing your company's ARS and have not yet received the necessary information, please reach out to the AMCA Membership team at [email protected]. They will gladly provide you with this year’s request letter. Alternatively, you can complete your report directly through the AMCA ARS Online Form.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and plays a crucial role in supporting the association. Thank you for your attention to this important matter!
