AMCA Education — An ornament AND a refuge
Mar 21, 2019
“Education is an ornament in prosperity and a refuge in adversity” — Aristotle
by Lisa Cherney, AMCA Education Manager
Any time I can borrow from the masters, I will—especially when they are so on point.
AMCA is working hard to ensure that our members, their clients, and the air systems world as a whole take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and expertise our industry has to offer. We are developing a potent, robust curriculum of materials, courses, and modules which will address topics and issues which will help us stay ahead in the good times, and develop solutions to overcome the lean.
We will shortly begin working with Colorado State University Online to field a host an entire catalog of courses and modules designed to help you maintain your knowledge; grow your proficiency; and, maybe, learn something new. Some courses will offer PDH credits while others will be more informational in nature about AMCA processes and procedures. Several modules will be available for FREE, while others will entail a reasonable fee. But ALL will be developed with YOU in mind.
I invite you to stay tuned to the EDUCATE section of the new website and take advantage of the courses we will be offering. I also encourage you to reach out with comments and ideas for course topics and feedback. This program is member (and industry) driven. We want to ensure you are getting what you need when you need it—be it an ornament or a refuge.
